Billie Eilish Slams “All Lives Matter” Slogan To 63 Million Insta Followers

by | June 4, 2020

Vegan singer Billie Eilish has taken to Instagram to share her thoughts on the “All Lives Matter” slogan.

The phrase “All Lives Matter” is a controversial response to Black Lives Matter — a movement fighting for racial equality.

“Black Lives Matter”

“IF I HEAR ONE MORE WHITE PERSON SAY “aLL liVeS maTtEr” ONE MORE F*CKING TIME I’M GONNA LOSE MY F*CKING MIND,” Eilish wrote in an Instagram post.

“NO ONE IS SAYING YOUR LIFE DOESN’T MATTER. NO ONE IS SAYING YOUR LIFE IS NOT HARD. NO ONE IS LITERALLY SAYING ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT YOU.”

“THE SLOGON OF #blacklivesmatter DOES NOT MEAN OTHER LIVES DON’T. IT’S CALLING ATTENTION TO THE FACT THAT SOCIETY CLEARLY THINKS BLACK LIVES DON’T F*CKING MATTER AND THEY F*CKING DO.”

“BLACK LIVES MATTER. BLACK LIVES MATTER. BLACK LIVES MATTER. SAY IT AGAIN.”

“#justiceforgeorgefloyd.”

The 18-year-old star is no stranger to standing up for what she believes in.

Last year, the musician shared an Instagram story in which she urged her fans to “be smarter” and go vegan.

“I keep my mouth shut about this most of the time,” Eilish wrote.

“I understand that meat tastes good…and I know you think you’re just one person…but that’s ignorant and stupid…If you have half a brain you should know that one person adds up.”

“Be smarter.”
