by | January 9, 2019

Chobani Yogurt Company is releasing a non-dairy line of yogurt, including drinkable yogurt and the more traditional yogurt cups. The leader in Greek-style yogurt sales in the US have decided to capitalize on the growing demands for non-dairy and plant-based foods. In January, Chobani is set to launch a whole range of plant-based products including five yogurt cup flavors and four drinks, all of which are made from organic coconut.

Chobani Yogurt Going Vegan

Chobani Yogurt Company’s new non-dairy line is made with all natural, non-GMO ingredients and has no artificial flavors, preservatives, or sweeteners. Along with containing twenty-five percent less sugar than other brands, the vegan yogurts will also have probiotics.

The vegan yogurts will be available in blueberry, peach, slightly-sweet plain, strawberry, and vanilla flavors. The drinkable yogurt flavors will be mango, strawberry, vanilla chai, and slightly-sweet plain.

Chobani are touting their new non-dairy line as ‘delicious, non-dairy coconut-based blend packed with probiotics and made with 25% less sugar* than other non-dairy alternatives. It’s the perfect non-dairy choice, made the Chobani Way: with only natural ingredients and real fruit for a creamy texture and refreshing taste.’

Awesome!!! I’m always looking for good non-dairy yogurt options for my three toddler vegans. I’m hopeful that this one has more protein than most of the options out there. Can’t wait to try!

What a shame you had to make it with coconut. Very high cholesterol.
