Experts At Major Cardiology Conference Agree — Vegan Diet Reigns Supreme

by | March 1, 2020

In a story broken by Plant Based News, the vegan diet reigned supreme at a major cardiology conference which took place late last month.

More than 3,000 cardiology experts came together at the annual event — with all of the speakers promoting plant-based diets as the healthiest option for heart health.

The CRT conference is held every year in Washington, DC, and is an opportunity for leading experts to share new cardiovascular technology and related research.

Michelle Obama — who is an outspoken advocate for healthy eating — delivered the keynote speech.

For the first time in the history of the event, this year’s CRT conference included a debate session dedicated to nutrition. However, all of the experts on the panel agreed that plant-based nutrition is best for heart health.
