According to a report by an Indian national daily, the star cricketer decided to embrace plant based living six months ago in a bid to further improve his fitness and game.

on Twitter, Virat Kohli has already been an inspiration to his fans for his remarkable transformation from a chubby-faced boy to his present fitness goal setting form. He has cut out meat, eggs, and dairy altogether from his diet and is reportedly taking in lots of fruits, veggies, soy, and protein shakes. The source claimed that once a big time chicken biryani fan, Virat had been contemplating embracing a vegan diet for the last two years. The source has been quoted as saying:

“Kohli started this diet four months ago and is feeling stronger as his digestive power has increased. He isn’t missing meat, eggs, or dairy.”

The source also went ahead and insisted Virat Kohli is witnessing a calming effect of vegan diet on his temperament.
