The Princess Diaries star recently shared in an interview with Tatler magazine why she quit veganism. The movie star went vegan back when she was preparing for her role as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. According to Women’s Health Mag, after the film, Anne became fully vegan and reportedly one of the “lifestyle’s most enthusiastic proponents” who even had a vegan menu at her wedding. The star earlier shared about her decision to stop drinking and now she has quit veganism.

She told Tatler magazine about why she quit her vegan diet. The story goes back to her Interstellar days. She, along with her co-star Matt Damon and her husband Adam Schulman, went to dine together at a restaurant in Iceland. Matt said that he would take anything served in front of him, and when Anne Hathaway was offered salmon, she asked if it was local. She said that eating the salmon made her brain feel like a “computer rebooting.”

“So then I was the only chick and I’m the vegan and everyone’s just going with the flow. So I asked [she puts on a small embarrassed voice]: ‘Is your fish local?’ And they said: ‘Do you see that fjord?’ So I had a piece of salmon and my brain felt like a computer rebooting,” said Anne to Tatler’s magazine.

The actor previously told Harper’s Bazaar about her bidding adieu to veganism while shooting Interstellar, where she had to fit in a 40-pound spacesuit.

“I just didn’t feel good or healthy…not strong,” she said.

The actress now lives on a paleo-style diet. What do you think about Anne Hathaway’s decision to leave veganism? Let me know in the comments.

There is no such thing as vegan diet. Veganism is not about food but about animals and their rights to live. There is ‘plant based’ diet and she was just following it for a while. That’s all.

Your main point is correct, but there is a such thing as a vegan diet. You explained it wrong. A vegan diet is a diet where the choices of what to eat are based on what is reasonable and practicable to avoid needless violence. The words, “Anne became fully vegan…” are in fact a lie. There is no such thing ass being vegan. We are not our actions. We are Most Important because:

Life is Most Important in Life is The Most Important Truth in Life

    and always true for life.

The fastest and surest way to turn someone away from real veganism is to call anyone a vegan and impart the lie of inequality.

However, it is not enough to not call people vegans and not tell that lie once a person has been told the reason is that truth above. They must then tell others why. Otherwise, they are deceiving others through the omission of the main and only foundational fact.

Inconsistent value systems are not valid.

Once we have been told this specific truth we must choose to reject it or choose to accept it. The choice is forced. This truth is far above the just the good morals of veganism. It alone makes the value system consistent. As all truths depend on this truth being true in order that they may THEN be true themselves. There is a logical pecking order. Truth is at the top. specifically, the truth of the importance of life.

Yet, the vegan lifestyle is something that is required to live in this truth.
