Pizza Hut to Deliver Beer Just in Time for the Super Bowl

Pizza Hut to deliver beer? You heard it right. Pizza Hut in the US will deliver beer to thirsty customers from over three hundred locations across the country by mid-January and hopes to expand that to over one thousand locations by June.

Pizza Hut to Deliver Beer Just in Time for the Super Bowl

This big announcement comes just in time for the party of the year in the US, Super Bowl Sunday, which takes place this year on February 3rd. There’s no party like a Super Bowl Party, and pizza and beer go hand-in hand. Pizza Hut has been the official pizza sponsor of the Super Bowl since last year. Football fans and beer lovers alike will be able to quench their thirst in the genius marketing move from the the global giant.

Pizza Hut has been struggling to gain sales over the past few years and is hoping that the availability of beer delivery will give them a much-needed boost.

Perhaps they should try following in the footsteps of their UK counterpart and hop on the Veganuary bandwagon. Pizza Hut UK added a vegan jackfruit pizza earlier this month. The plant-based pizza called the Jack ‘n’ Ch**se was launched in the UK and has been well-received so far. Pizza Hut UK has even teased that it could become a permanent fixture on the menu if they sell over ten thousand during the month of January.

While Pizza Hut in the US does not offer the ‘Jack ‘n’ Ch**se’, they do have some vegan options available on their menu, including vegan pizza crust, vegan dips and sauces, and many, many toppings. Including vegan bacon bits. If you’re in the US just remember to nix the cheese, as they are yet to offer a vegan alternative.
