Queen Guitarist Brian May To Continue Vegan Diet After Enjoying Veganuary
May shared his Veganuary progress with his 2.1 million Instagram followers throughout January, often speaking of his excitement at discovering new plant-based dishes.
“VEGANUARY !!! Yes! It’s done – and I loved it. Not a morsel of meat or fish or dairy passed my lips. It was so much easier than I expected and gave me so much” May wrote on Instagram yesterday.
“So I am now plunging in for a Vegan February!!! I certainly don’t feel like giving up this new journey of discovery.”

Brian May On Animal Rights
The Queen guitarist has been an outspoken animal rights activist for many years.
In 2010 he launched the Save Me charity to campaign “for the protection of animals against cruel and degrading treatment.”
Last year he declared his band will never play at Glastonbury — one of the biggest annual music festivals in the UK — in part due to the organizer’s stance on killing badgers.
“He’s in favour of the badger cull,” said May of the festival founder, “which I regard as a tragedy and an unnecessary crime against wildlife.”
