Don’t hit the snooze button. 

It is so easy to do, you’re exhausted, it was set too early anyway, last nights ambitions don’t translate to this morning’s actions. Yet, giving yourself an extra twenty minutes in the morning makes all the difference. You won’t feel rushed and can sit down and enjoy that coffee. it also won’t be world ending if something does crop up, like a sudden picture day notice.

Let the kids participate 

A lot of the time, we’re giving commands, then following through the actions ourselves. Let the kids help in the morning routine, someone is in charge of setting the breakfast out, another person is in charge of clean up. Many hands make light work!
