Super Refreshing Strawberry Mint Vegan Lemonade

Are you looking for your new favorite drink that you and your family will be drinking all Summer long in order to stay refreshed when out by the pool, at the beach, or on a vegan picnic? You’re in luck because the recipe that you’ve ever been searching for is here- strawberry mint vegan lemonade!

As a simple upgrade from your traditional lemonade, with the effortless addition of fresh strawberries (which are actually in season now!) and mint, will elevate this drink to satisfy your children and your friends.

Another hidden secret about this recipe? You can also booze it up for a beautiful Summer night with your fellow parents out there by simply adding however much vodka or rum to the lemonade as you would like. Don’t wait any longer to make this perfect warm-weather beverage- here is our recipe for strawberry mint vegan lemonade.

(Serves 4)


  • 4 large lemons
  • 4 cups water (3 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup)
  • 2/3 cup + 1 tsp organic cane sugar (natural, raw, or unrefined cane sugar is also vegan-friendly)
  • 1 1/2 cup strawberries, halved (1 cup + 1/2 cup)
  • 1/3 cup mint leaves
  • Optional:
    • Ice for serving
    • lemon round for serving

  1. Juice all of your lemons, being mindful of the seeds as to not get them mixed in your final product. To make juicing your lemons easier, use your hands to roll each lemon against a sturdy surface to soften them up.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with 3 1/2 cups of water and 2/3 cup organic cane sugar.
  3. Using a blender, blend 1 cup of halved strawberries combined with the remaining 1/2 cup of water and 1 tsp organic cane sugar until you have a juice-like consistency.
  4. Add the strawberry juice to the lemonade and stir well.
  5. Add in the mint leaves to the mixture.
  6. Add in the remaining 1/2 cup of halved strawberries to the mixture.
  7. Cover and let sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.
  8. Serve over ice and with a lemon round on the rim of your favorite glass. Enjoy outside under the sun with vegan BBQ such as our delicious BBQ vegetable skewers.
