“We are marching for an end to their exploitation and objectification. We demand liberation and sovereignty for the millions of animals who are silenced or whose cries continue to fall on deaf ears. We are here to bring their plight into the public eye and create space for compassionate action,” said organizers.
“It was the March of Silence, an effort to bring attention and compassion to what participants call the plight of the billions of voiceless animals in factory farms and animal testing laboratories.”

The activists were there making the point that animals cannot speak for themselves. They can’t scream “help me” when trapped in a factory farm, a fur farm, or a laboratory.
Following the event on September 12, organizers said: “Thank you to everyone who showed up last night and marched in solidarity for the animals. We had an amazing turnout and could not be any happier.”
The March of Silence saw the activist march through the streets of L.A. for two miles. It was a sight to be seen, with hundreds of activists wearing all black with green tape across their mouths.
