Au Bonheur des Chats (Breakfast/Lunch)

A vegan cat café is never a bad idea, especially when it’s as good-willed and ethical as Au Bonheur des Chats is. With their adoptable cats coming from the Ron’Rhône Association, these rescued abandoned cats are being given a second chance at life to find their forever home. The café offers a typical menu with a vegan twist with the aim to show the Lyonnaise community that being vegan doesn’t mean that one must sacrifice delicious food. With a Buddha bowl option for lunch offered Wednesday through Friday, you’ll enjoy a filling meal among loving cats living their best life. If you’re not too full afterward, I recommend their matcha latte for a post-meal treat.

Les Mauvaises Herbes (Lunch)

Located just over a half mile from the beautiful Basilique Notre Dame de Fourviere, you’ll find amazing food (and wine!) in the welcoming ambiance of Les Mauvaises Herbes. Their menu is based on healthy eating including vegetarian, vegan, organi, no-sugar-added, and gluten-free options. All of their dishes are colorful, good for the planet and your body. On Facebook, you can keep up with them to see what new dish is being offered that week.
