What Makes Vegan Breast Milk Special?

Veganism is a nutritious, and safe way to eat. If you’re eating your proteins, carbs, and fats, from whole plant-based foods, there’s no reason why your body will become malnourished. You’re eating the essentials!

However, just make sure that you’re eating the appropriate caloric intake for your body/height/lifestyle. It is extremely important that we take note of our caloric intake, so that our bodies have the strength to make food for another human being and still maintain your own energy.
If you’re a Vegan parent that breastfeeds and you drink ALL the water in your house, eat ALL the oats, nuts, legumes, greens, and avocados, why wouldn’t you consider your breast milk to be special?

You’re a Vitamin Making Milk Machine!

Baby intakes all your vitamins from your milk. Your milk is produced by your bodily fluids and foods that you eat. So, imagine eating all the veggies and fruits on the vegan rainbow spectrum, filled with natural vitamins and passed down to baby. Now that’s some serious breast milk! Liquid Gold!
As long as mama increases her caloric intake and hydrates, there’s no reason why baby would not be healthy. What better way to feed your child than foods filled natural vitamins such as vitamin C, iron, B-12, folate, folic acid, calcium, and fiber.

Before you know it, your little will be gnawing on some cucumbers, carrots and other veggies on their own and benefit from all the natural vitamins that whole foods provide!
So cheers to all the Vegan parents that are producing LIQUID GOLD!
