A vegan diner?! Is it too good to be true?

Restaurateur Ravi DeRossi has announced plans to open a 24-hour vegan diner, called ‘Doll Face’ as part of 12 vegan eateries he’s hoping to open in the next two years.

During a recent appearance on #EatForThePlanet podcast with Nil Zacharias, New York City-based restaurateur Ravi announced plans for expanding his vegan empire. He plans to open a fantastic 12 eateries, with some possibly outside of NYC, in the next two years. The first of which will be the 24-hour vegan diner Doll Face.

He also plans to open Avant Garden Sandwich Co. – an offshoot of his fine-dining restaurant Avant Garden.

In 2016 DeRossi made a commitment to veganize as many of his 15 restaurants as possible. He has since transformed Mother of Pearl, Cienfuegos and Bourgeois Pig (now called Ladybird) into vegan eateries.

Earlier in 2017 DeRossi co-founded vegan bar Coup. The profits from this bar are all donated to organizations that were de-funded by the Trump administration.
