Ben & Jerry’s Launches New Vegan Ice Cream To Fight Climate Change
Ice cream giant Ben & Jerry’s has launched a new flavor of vegan ice cream to help fight the climate crisis.
The limited-edition flavor — Un-fudge our Future — is available exclusively in Australia, and has been created in collaboration with environmental group 350.org Australia.
The vegan ice cream — which features chocolate and peanut butter, fudge brownies & chunks of peanut butter cookie dough — is being used as part of a campaign to urge the government to ban fossil fuels.
“A Climate Crisis Call-To-Action”
“Un-fudge our Future isn’t just a tasty new vegan flavor you can’t miss, it’s a climate crisis call-to-action you can’t ignore,” said Ben & Jerry’s.
“Ben & Jerry’s is supporting climate leaders 350.org Australia and the inspiring global movement of young people demanding climate action.”
“There is no planet B, that’s why we will donate part of the proceeds of each pint to the movement fighting for our future.”

Ben & Jerry’s
Ben & Jerry’s found itself at the centre of a media storm this week, after urging UK Home Secretary Priti Patel to show some humanity towards migrants.
The British government has recently been stepping up its efforts to deter people from crossing the Channel from France, claiming that more than 4,000 migrants have illegally come into the country this way in 2020 alone.
“People Cannot Be Illegal”
Ben & Jerry’s sent a tweet to the Home Secretary stating, “Hey @PritiPatel, we think the real crisis is our lack of humanity for people fleeing war, climate change and torture.”
Adding, “People wouldn’t make dangerous journeys if they had any other choice”…”People cannot be illegal.”
Patel has hit back at Ben & Jerry’s, labelling the brand as “overpriced junk food,” and advising the company not to get involved in politics.
