In today’s economy, following what the consumer wants, as opposed to telling them what they need is fairing well for grocery outlets – the plant-based sales exceeded over $13 billion in sales last year, and research shows that Americans are increasingly following a vegan diet, with a jump of 4% identifying as vegan households in the last three years.
