The event will feature plant-based food from local vendors, kids activities, cooking demos, rescue animals, live music, and a number of presenters speaking on topics related to veganism — all in an initiative created to grow the vegan and plant-based movement in York.

The festival’s Director and Board President of Animal Advocates of South Central PA, Adrienne Williams spoke to her motives at last year’s event.

“This event is to help animals as well as humans,” she said.

This second annual Harvest Vegfest will take place at Cousler Park, September 21, between 11am and 5pm.
