Fully Vegan Supermarket Coming For Las Vegas

by | October 2, 2019

Las Vegas will be getting a fully vegan supermarket called Veg-In-Out Market later this month.

According to the website, Veg-In-Out Market will supply the area with frozen, refrigerated, packaged, boxed, and canned plant-based staples. It will also host a range of “not so healthy, but oh so delicious indulgences” such as vegan candy bars, snacks, and ice cream.

The store will have its own loyalty rewards system, with which customers will be able to get discounts, specials, and coupons.

Veg-In-Out Market will donate a certain amount of its profits each month to a Not-For-Profit Organization that works for animal rights. The charity of the month will be voted on by customers via social media.

It will be located at 2301 East Sunset Road.

Vegan Owners Kaiti and Erik Rogers

The owners of Veg-In-Out Market, Kaiti and Erik Roger, moved to Las Vegas in 2012. Speaking to Kathryn Hartwig of local blog Vegans Baby, Erik Roger said the motivation behind opening the store was “to create a place where we could find a wider array of vegan products and not have to read the labels on any of them!”

Veg-In-Out Market recently hosted a survey on its Facebook page asking customers whether they’d like plastic or paper bags, or to bring their own. The soon-to-open shop also had a booth at this year’s Vegfest where attendees could sign up for The Vegan-ized Club.
