“Focus On Real Problems,” Justin Bieber Tells PETA After $35k Cat Purchase
International pop sensation Justin Bieber has hit back at PETA, after the animal welfare grout criticized him for his purchase of two Savannah cats.
The hybrid cats, which Bieber has named Sushi and Tuna, were purchased from a breeder for $35,000, shortly before Bieber’s recent wedding to model Hailey Baldwin.

PETA stated that “Justin Bieber could inspire his fans around the world to save a life by adopting a cat from a local animal shelter — rather than fuelling the dangerous demand for hybrid cats, contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis.”
Bieber took to Instagram to reply that “PETA can suck it” and that the group should “go focus on real problems”, such as “poaching and animal brutality.”
Bieber, who has previously kept a Capuchin monkey as a pet, has bought a number of other animals over the years, and often shares photos of them Instagram.
The Savannah is a hybrid of a regular domestic cat bred with an African Serval, and is one of the most expensive cat breeds.
This particular breed is subject to legal restrictions and is even banned in a number of US states . This is because in some places they are still defined as wild cats, and are therefore considered to be an exotic species.
