Mars Set To Release Three Vegan Varieties Of Galaxy Chocolate
Global confectionary manufacturer Mars is getting ready to launch three dairy-free versions of its popular Galaxy chocolate bar.
“This is our first vegan product” announced Kerry Cavanaugh, the unit director of chocolate at Mars. “We felt it was time to offer fans of our best-selling Galaxy brand more choice. We expect it to be very popular at Christmas for families and friends to share, as well as in Veganuary.”
The new dairy-free chocolate bars will be on sale in the UK from November 18. They have been certified by The Vegan Society and can be purchased on Amazon, as well as at Tesco and Ocado.
The 100g bars will cost £3 each and will be available in three flavors — smooth orange, caramel and sea salt, and caramelised hazelnut.
In an environmentally friendly move, the chocolate bars will come in a fully compostable wrapper and recyclable cardboard packaging.
