Ripple To Launch Two New Dairy-Free Product Lines This Month
Dairy alternative giant Ripple Foods is set to launch a new line of Creamy Yogurts, along with a line of Superfood Milks.
The Superfood Milks — which pack 8g of plant-based protein per serving — will be offered in 32oz bottles in Matcha, Turmeric, and Acai flavor. The plant-based yogurts — at 6g of protein per serving — will be available in Vanilla, Strawberry, Peach, Blueberry, and Original flavor. All of the products are advertised as being soy-free, nut-free, gluten-free and lactose-free, as well as non-GMO certified.
The new offerings will be rolled out to select retailers this month. While the yogurts will be available at Wegmans and a number of independent US grocers, the superfood milks will be carried exclusively by Target stores in 2019, with plans for further expansion next year.
These two new ranges will be added to the brand’s growing list of dairy alternatives which now includes a variety of plant-based milks, protein shakes, protein powders, kid-friendly milk packs, a half-and-half creamer and a barista-style dairy alternative.
The introduction of Yogurt and Superfood Milk comes in the wake of an improved protein extraction process that has allowed Ripple to reduce the levels of sugar in its milks.
In an email sent to Raise Vegan, Adam Lowry, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Ripple Foods explained that these new product lines are part of a natural progression toward more functional, flavorful beverage options.
“As more consumers look to add plant-based and dairy-free foods to their diet, it’s important that they have options that not only taste delicious but are also full of high-quality nutrition,” he stated.
“We’re proud to launch a product that supports our food philosophy of making plant-based foods delicious.”
