New Vegan Documentary Nominated For Prestigious Award At Film Fest
Narrated by vegan actress Evanna Lynch, iAnimal is an eye-opening short film which has been nominated in the ‘Best Social Impact Experience’ category at this year’s Raindance Film Festival. The new vegan documentary gives viewers insight into the dairy industry.

Raindance Film Festival is the largest film festival in the United Kingdom, and it would seem that veganism is breaking down the walls there too. The five minute short film is narrated by Harry Potter actress and animal right activist Evanna Lynch
Animal rights group Animal Equality have produced the vegan documentary to give viewers a unique view into the dairy industry, witnessing the suffering of the cattle. The film will show the cows being repeatedly impregnated, then separated from their calves, milked until they are no longer found to be profitable or stop producing milk, then eventually sent to slaughter.
Lynch begins the narration of the vegan documentary by saying “This is the tragic reality for dairy cows. I was unaware of the suffering behind every glass of milk, but what I discovered changed my perspective. You don’t know what it’s like to be in a room designed to kill you.”
The vegan documentary will be shown at the film festival, which runs from September 26th – October 27th in London.
