Vegan Pumpkin Spice Lattes Coming To Starbucks

by | August 13, 2018

Starbucks has released a new vegan pumpkin spice sauce, making pumpkin spice latte season something everyone can enjoy.

Starbucks locations in Europe have unveiled a brand new item to their menu, a clearly labeled vegan mix used to create their famous Pumpkin Spice Lattes this fall. A Redditor spotted the vegan pumpkin spice packages inside a Starbucks location and quickly went online to tell the internet about their discovery.

The packages of Vegan Pumpkin Sauce with Spice Flavorings contain 2% pumpkin puree and are made with all vegan ingredients. While the much-loved beverage is usually created with condensed milk in the United States, European customers are now going to have the option to have a vegan pumpkin spice version to indulge in during the fall thanks to this new mix.

Starbucks has been making strides to cater to the vegan community in recent times, offering up an array of different plant based milk and new vegan food options including their Nutella-inspired Hazelnut Mocha Coconut-Milk Macchiato, and their vegan wrap with falafel and slaw.

The growing number of consumers asking for vegan and vegetarian options is what has prompted Starbucks to make the changes to their menu. After all, they can only stay relevant if they continue to give the customers what they want.

The summer saw the release of a number of vegan food options in the chains UK locations including a Kale, Jalapeno and Slaw Wrap, Vegan Chocolate and Raspberry cake, and a Mango and Lime Fruit Pot.

I don’t know about you, but as someone obsessed with all things pumpkin, I’m hoping this new vegan pumpkin spice sauce makes it’s way over the water to the US in time for the season to really kick off.
