Baby Bump Sheet Masks? Yes please! They Exist

Founded in 2011, Hatch was created by Ariane Goldman who wanted to revolutionize the world of maternity clothing. As of now, the brand has expanded to include Hatch Beauty which is your one-stop-shop to all of your pregnancy self-care needs that are “non-toxic, plant-derived, and cruelty-free”. With everything from belly oil to nipple and lip balm, Hatch Mama has got you covered. Here’s all you need to know about their Instagram-worthy baby bump sheet masks.

Sheet masks are beneficial for a number of reasons, they are intended to add extra nourishment to your skin rather than cleansing or exfoliating it. Originating from South Korea, they have become rather popular in Western Culture these past few years. With sheet masks (for both your face and your bump), they’re great because there is no messy clean-up required once you’ve finished using the product- you discard the used sheet and massage any leftover serum into your skin without rinsing.

According to Hatch’s website, their “Belly Facials?! Seriously.” baby bump sheet masks are intended to “[help] minimize stretch marks during [andpost-pregnancy, [help] soften scar tissue postpartum, [and to] intensely [hydrate] and relieves the itchiest bellies.” The two key ingredients in the mask are aloe vera and propolis which aid in the reparation of stressed-out skin. With regular use (the brand recommends 1-2 times a week), this belly mask can help reduce the appearance of any stretch marks and scaring you may get during pregnancy. The mask can fit bumps of all sizes, all you have to do is fold in the edges to fit the sheet to your belly. It also has an adorable wink printed on it (with non-toxic ink, of course) so turn to the side and snap a photo with your bump with the mask on.

Currently, Hatch Mama beauty products are only available for shipping within the U.S. so here’s to hoping that us in Europe can get them sometime soon!
