Boy Challenges Trump To Try Eating Vegan, Offers $1M To Charity In Return
Nine-year-old activist Evan has teamed up with campaign group Million Dollar Vegan to challenge Donald Trump to eat plant-based for just one month — with the promise of a significant donation to charity in return..
In a letter to the president, Evan wrote “I’d like to make you an offer. We will give $1 million to our amazing veterans if you go vegan for January.”
“Now, I know what you’re thinking,” the letter continues, “Why would I do that?“
“Well, we want to Make America Healthy Again, and a plant-based diet can prevent, treat, and even reverse many serious diseases.”
Evan — who is the President of Animal Hero Kids and an ambassador for Million Dollar Vegan — is hoping that this challenge will educate the country on the advantages of a plant-based diet, and inspire people to give it a try themselves.
The campaign has been backed by several top doctors, as well as a number of people who have enjoyed the benefits of changing their diets in the same way.

Million Dollar Vegan
Million Dollar Vegan is a not-for-profit organization aiming to “encourage world leaders to lead by example and show how eating a delicious vegan diet can protect health as well as benefit the planet and animals.”
Earlier this year, 12-year-old Genesis Butler contacted Pope Francis on behalf of the group to ask him to ditch animal products. A $1 million charitable donation was offered if the Pope were to accept. Although he thanked the young activist for the invitation, the Pope did not take on the challenge.
The plant-based advocates are now hoping that Donald Trump will rise to the occasion and embrace an animal-friendly diet.
