Crockpot Apple Cider For a Delicious Fall Drink
Apple cider is my favorite fall drink. It’s perfect for miserable rainy days, curled up on the couch watching movies or reading a book.

Apple Cider Recipe
2 green apples
2 red apples
2 yellow apples
2 cinnamon sticks
½ cup maple syrup
1 tsp ground nutmeg
12 cups water
Wash the apples and the orange and cut them into quarters.
Place all the ingredients in a large pot and bring water to a boil. Then reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 1 or 2 hours. The longer it simmers, the more the flavors will blend together.
Strain out the apple cider juice into a clean pot.
Serve hot or cold (pour into a resealable jug and refrigerate).
This makes an amazing spiked cider, just throw a shot of dark spiced rum into a mug and top up with warm cider. You won’t be sorry!!!!
