Gardein To Launch Line Of High-Protein Vegan Soups

In a story broken by VegNews, meat alternative giant Gardein is set to launch a line of vegan soups this summer.

Inspired by “the classics,” flavors in the new range include Saus’ge Gumbo Soup, Chick’n Noodl’ Soup, Chick’n & Rice Soup, Be’f & Vegetable Soup, and Minestrone & Saus’ge Soup.

Each soup is made using plant-based meat and is designed to be high in protein.

These soups are just the latest in a long line of vegan products from Gardein.

These include products such as the brand’s meatless meatballs, chick’n tenders, and mini crab-less cakes, along with a number of plant-based meals.

Existing products from Gardein can be found in the frozen section of grocery stores in North America and the UK.

The promotion of Meatless Monday is part of Gardein’s initiative for health and a better planet.

According to the brand’s website, switching to plant-based meals can improve overall diet, increase life expectancy, and reduce the strain food production puts on the environment.
