Hardee’s Goes Meat-Free In Partnership With Vegan Brand Beyond Meat
American burger chain Hardee’s has teamed up with Beyond Meat to bring two new sandwiches its menu.
The new creations, the Beyond Sausage Biscuit and the Original Beyond Thickburger will be on the menu at select Hardee’s restaurants from October 28.
The Beyond Sausage Biscuit offers a vegan patty between Hardee’s Biscuits, and the Original Beyond Thickburger is the meat alternative brand’s flagship burger topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and dill pickles, with a choice of sauces on a toasted bun.

Beyond Meat: Vegan Brand Success
Hardee’s is owned by CKE Restaurants, which also owns the brand’s sister company Carl’s Jr. — one of the first big restaurant partnerships for the Beyond Meat brand.
Owen Klein, VP of Global Culinary Innovation at CKE, has said of the existing partnership with Beyond Meat that, “Since late 2018 when we launched, we’ve sold over 4 million Beyond patties at Carl’s Jr., and a lot of them were to new faces that didn’t frequent Carl’s Jr. prior to that launch.”
With 1,841 Hardee’s restaurants in the United States, this widely consumed plant-based burger could soon become more popular still.
