Impossible Whopper Goes Nationwide At Burger King
The plant-based Impossible Burger will soon be available at all US Burger King locations, served on the chain’s recently debuted Impossible Whopper.
The burger, which is the result of a partnership between Burger King and meat-alternative brand Impossible Foods, features tomato, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mayo, and onions — all the same toppings that come on a regular Whopper.
While the patty is plant based as it comes, those looking to avoid consuming animal products should ask to hold the mayo.
Food delivery service Door Dash has partnered with Burger King until September 1, offering free delivery to anyone ordering the burger.

Plant Based
Strict vegans should be advised that this burger is generally considered to be plant based, not vegan.
This is because animal testing was used in the early stages of its development — a move which has sparked significant debate surrounding the burger’s status.
