Kanye West's New Yeezy Sneakers Are Totally Vegan
The new creation is totally free from animal products, and is made with a combination of algae foam and ethylene-vinyl acetate.
“Eco concerns are intersecting with what we do” said Steven Smith, Yeezy Head Designer.
“This is just the beginning of the future that Kanye envisioned for us to start working on and creating and challenged us to.”
The singer has called his new sneakers “the Apple of apparel” and plans to have them on sale in 2020.

As well as making the new sneakers vegan, the company has announced that it will aim to harvest plant-based materials for production from the Yeezy headquarters.
The offices in Cody, Wyoming, are surrounded by 4,000 acres of land that will be used to farm cotton, hemp, and algae.
