Mars Releases Vegan Chocolate Drink Made From Oats
Confectionary giant Mars has launched a vegan chocolate milkshake made from an oat base.
Certified by The Vegan Society, the Mars Oat milkshake is described as, “Bursting with a rich chocolatey taste and a hint of caramel.”
The 150ml chocolate drink — which has no added sugar — is on sale now at UK Asda stores for £1.50.
This is the third addition to the brands dairy-free drink range, following the launch of Galaxy Oat and Bounty Coconut flavors.

Mars Vegan Chocolate Drink
The new oat drink from is the latest of the plant-based product releases from Mars.
Last year, the company launched three dairy-free versions of its popular Galaxy chocolate bar.

Speaking about the new Galaxy bars, Kerry Cavanaugh, marketing director at Mars, said, “This is our first vegan product…We felt it was time to offer fans of our best-selling Galaxy brand more choice.”
“We’re thrilled to be offering vegans, flexitarians and lovers of sweet treats even more ways to choose pleasure with a brand they love,” she added.
