President’s Choice Launches Line Of Vegan Products At Canadian Grocers

Popular Canadian brand President’s Choice has added a selection of new vegan products to its range.

President’s Choice — an in-house brand of Loblaws, one of the largest food retailers in Canada — has been increasingly embracing plant-based options.

Among the new products is the Original Cheesecake-Style Dessert, the Beetles Undeniable Burger, and the Original Cashew Dip, which is also available in Cucumber Dill and Roasted Red Pepper flavour. 

A new range of chicken-style products, made from pea, soy, and brown rice proteins are also now available, such as Chickenless Breasts and Chickenless Breaded Cutlets.

Vegan Choices for Canadians

The number of easily-available plant-based products in Canada has grown over the last few years thanks to a rise in demand from consumers.

A study that took place last year shows that 10 percent of Canadians are now living a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle —which amounts to more than 3 million people all in.
