WATERMELON JERKY is seriously the addiction in our house this summer, that I’m wondering where we’re going to buy watermelons for the Christmas dinner.
They are incredibly sweet, and will disappear quicker than any candy you have, but also versatile for hiking trip, park outings and snacks in the car on journeys. Our kids can’t get enough of them.

The original recipe called for a dehydrator, but we tried it out in the oven instead, because our kitchen is already an appliance graveyard. It worked and tasted just as great.
