Mouthwatering Vegan Taco Recipe

This mouthwatering vegan taco recipe buffet-style meal is perfect for families, groups of teenagers, and even picky kids.
Having lots of choices on hand ensures that everyone will be able to put together a meal they enjoy!
Foundation
Taco shells warmed gently (NOTE: you can use crunchy corn taco shells, small flour tortillas, or corn tortillas—your choice)
Protein options (use any of the following):
- Lentils
- Refried beans
- Soy chorizo
- Meatless crumbles
- Black beans
- Tofu
Topping options (use any of the following)
- Chopped tomatoes
- Minced red onions
- Chopped lettuce
- Vegan sour cream and cheddar cheese
- Cilantro
- Guacamole and/or avocado chunks
- Grated carrots
- Chopped cabbage
- Lime wedges
- Roasted (or grilled) chopped veggies
- Salsa
To Make
Simply place your items of choice out on a countertop in individual bowls. Let everyone make their way through the “buffet line” and create the taco(s) of their dreams!
