Top Gear Star James May Goes Vegan For 24 Hours
TV presenter and journalist James May is embracing a 24 hour vegan diet for World Vegan Day.
His decision to do so is in support of animal right group Viva’s #GoVegan24 campaign, which aims to illustrate how animal agriculture is contributing to climate change.
“I’m doing World Vegan Day, and I’m not eating any meat produce for a whole day,” the Top Gear host explained. “If you’re into that sort of thing, give it a go. You may be surprised.”

World Vegan Day
“Try it for one day for the good of animals, your health and the environment” is the simple message from Viva today.
As part of the campaign, the animal rights group is asking participants to share a video of themselves explaining their decision to ditch animal products. A number of celebrities have embraced the challenge and have already shared theirs on Twitter.
