UK Supermarket Launches Vegan Essentials Box For Delivery During Pandemic
UK supermarket chain Morrisons has launched a Vegan Essentials box that is said to feed two people for a week.
The box — which is on sale for £35 including delivery — is a plant-based version of similar packages that major supermarkets have launched amid the pandemic.
“A Balanced Vegan Lifestyle”
“Designed to feed two for a week, this box contains vegan ingredients to help you enjoy a balanced vegan lifestyle at home” wrote Morrisons on its website.
“You’ll find fresh produce including fruit and vegetables, grains, nuts and vegan protein products like meat-free sausages and meatless mince.”
The boxes have been praised online as being helpful for vulnerable customers who are adhering to strict quarantine measures.
