Veganuary Creates First Ever Vegan Advert For Mainstream UK Television
The first vegan advert to air on mainstream television in the UK has been produced by the Veganuary team.
Veganuary is an international organization that encourages people to go vegan for January. The organization hopes that 2020 will be the biggest year yet for the campaign, and aims to get 350,000 people to take the month long pledge.
In order to extend the reach of the advert as far as possible, the organization is running a crowdfunding campaign to raise £40,000.
The vegan group has described the advert as “an exciting, thought provoking ad concept that will help people align their actions with their values.”
“To us, every life matters. And we know that you feel the same.”

Veganuary Vegan Success
In January 2019, over 250,000 people from 190 countries took the pledge to avoid animal products for the entire month. More than 500 brands, restaurants and supermarkets also participated to spread the Veganuary message.
The organization claims that over half of the people who took on the challenge last year continued with their new diet once January had ended.
