12-Year-Old Vegan Chef Omari McQueen Announces Release Of First Cookbook
12-year-old vegan chef and restaurateur Omari McQueen has announced the release of his first cookbook.
Omari McQueen’s Best Bites Cookbook is set to be published next year, featuring 30 easy to make plant-based recipes.
“So Excited To Announce”
“I am so excited to announce that my first published book will be out in January,” revealed McQueen on Instagram.
“I would like to thank everyone for all your love, support, and encouragement,” he continued.
“Mummy and Daddy, you’re the best a boy like me could have. Thank you to my siblings and family for being you – perfect.”

McQueen is believed to be the youngest person in the world to manage a restaurant, following the launch of his vegan pop-up in Croydon last year.
The young entrepreneur also runs his own dipping sauce company — Dipalicious Dips — which he started four years ago.
His publishing manager, Leah James, has called him “inspirational.”
“At just 12 years old, he has achieved so much,” she said.
“His passion for food and cooking is irresistible. Children everywhere have been busy learning to cook during lockdown; we can’t wait for Omari to share his recipes, tips and enthusiasm with a generation of children and their families.”
McQueen’s mom has shared that he went vegan at the age of eight, after discovering the cruelty involved in farming animals for food.
