Beyond Meat And Subway Team Up To Debut Plant-Based Sub

Beyond Meat has announced a collaboration with Subway to create a plant-based meatball sub, the Beyond Meatball Marinara.

The sandwich features a Beyond Meatball made exclusively for Subway, and can be made vegan when ordered without cheese on the standard Italian or 9-grain wheat bread.

It will be available be available at 685 Subway locations across the US and Canada this September.

Beyond Meat Partnerships

According to the meat alternative brand’s CEO and Founder, Ethan Brown, Subway is a welcome addition to the brand’s list of partners — which already includes chains such as Del Taco, A&W, Tim Hortons, and Carl’s Jr.

“We’re excited to partner with Subway and are grateful that the menu team through to senior management has entrusted us as their innovation partner to deliver delicious plant-based proteins to their guests,” he said.

“We look forward to a long-term partnership with Subway as we together serve and delight existing and new fans of this iconic chain.”
