“Eating Animals” Author Jonathan Safran Foer Debuts Book On Climate & Diet

Jonathan Safran Foer, author of Eating Animals — an acclaimed nonfiction book heavy on vegan themes — is set to release a new book September 17.

The book, We Are The Weather: Saving The Planet Begins At Breakfast, focuses on human diet as a function of climate change.

The the webpage from the publisher gives a brief breakdown of the contents of the book, along with the option to read an excerpt. The book is described as “a mind-bending and potentially world-changing call to action on climate change.”

CBC has praised the new release.

“Most books about the environmental crisis are densely academic, depressingly doom-laden, and crammed with impersonal statistics,” a review reads.

We Are the Weather is different — accessible, immediate, and with a single clear solution that individual readers can put into practice straight away.”
