Eliza Dushku Opts For Secret Settlement Of Sexual Harassment Claims She Levied Against Co-star
Not too long ago, the 37 year old once Vegan Eliza Dushku had come up with sexual harassment accusations against Bull Co-star Michael Weatherly. The details emerged during the time when CBS’s work culture and former chief executive Leslie Moonves’s conduct is under investigation following several allegations by multiple women over past few months.
The actress had accused Weatherly of making rape comment, threesome jokes and passing inappropriate comments about her appearance in front of the Bull’s cast and crew. Shortly after confronting Weatherly, Ms. Dushku was written off the CBS’s prime time drama, which is believed to be in retaliation of the accusations she levied against her Co-star.
The New York Times, in its review of the investigation report, had revealed that “the lawyers said the company’s handling of Ms. Dushku’s complaints was not only misguided, but emblematic of larger problems at CBS“. The report also concluded that CBS had a habit of protecting its interest, at the expense of the victims, whenever they faced chances of investigating a wrongdoing.
Ms Dushku remained unavailable to comment upon the media reports circulating widely, stating that she got paid $9.5 Millions in a secret settlement.
The actress is also known for embracing veganism in 2011 after watching the Forks Over Knives documentary that promoted plant based diets.
However, she hit a pause button to her Vegan lifestyle in 2014.
The actress had earlier accused True Lies stunt coordinator of sexual assault when she was just 12 years old. Ms Dushku came forward with the entire account of sexual molestation in a Facebook post detailing how the then 36 years old Joel Karmer methodologically abused his position to abuse the juvenile child actor.
