Free Vegan Pumpkin Pie For US Travellers At London’s Heathrow Airport
Tourists from the US passing through London’s Heathrow Airport were surprised to receive a pumpkin pie for the Thanksgiving celebrations.
When travellers from US flights arrived in London and went to collect their baggage, they were presented with mini pumpkin pies — with gluten free and vegan options available.
“We wanted to surprise passengers traveling from the USA today with a special taste of home” said Ross Baker, Heathrow’s Chief Commercial Officer.
Heathrow Airport teamed up with Whole Foods Market to offer the seasonal treats.

Vegan Thanksgiving Celebrations
A recent study showed that nearly a third of people in the US would be happy to forego a traditional turkey meal in favor of plant-based options.
The research illustrated that younger people in the US are increasingly likely to ditch animal products for Thanksgiving, with 45 percent of people in this age range saying that they might.
