Fried Chicken Chain To Open Vegan Restaurant After Huge Demand
Fried chicken chain Coqfighter is set to open a vegan restaurant in London following the success of its plant-based menu.
The new restaurant — Mercy Burger — will be in Boxpark, Shoreditch, and will open on July 4.
In an Instagram post announcing the launch, Coqfighter has revealed what will be featured on the menu.
“Overwhelmed By The Response”
“Having been overwhelmed by the response to our vegan menu range, rather than add more we thought, why not develop this further and launch something new,” the brand wrote in the post.
“Presenting MERCY BURGER. Smashed patty cheeseburgers, fried chickn sandwiches, sides and milkshakes all 100% vegan.”

Coqfighter already has four London locations — in Shoreditch, Croydon, Soho, and Brockley — with the new outlet set to open next to the existing Shoreditch branch.
“Guilt-Free Burger Restaurant”
“We set out to prove that fast food staples can taste just as good and be just as indulgent when they are plant-based,” said Deacon Rose, Coqfighter co-founder.
“Whether someone is vegan, looking to reduce their meat consumption, or just curious, we want Mercy Burger to be their guilt-free burger restaurant of choice.”
