Green Smoothie Bowl

Green Smoothie Bowl
I love a good smoothie bowl and so do my kids. Spend five minutes on Instagram and you’ll see loads of amazing smoothie bowls.
This smoothie bowl is quick, easy, and tasty. I enjoy making them look pretty, but, guess what – you don’t have to! You can just whiz one up, chuck some stuff on top and eat!
This beautiful little bowl only took five minutes to make and serve, and even less to devour! With some added matcha green tea powder – it really packs a punch on the nutrition side too. The addition of the avocado and coconut milk provides good fats, the seeds from the strawberries contain essential unsaturated fatty acids and kiwi packs a powerful hit of vitamin C. I add some vegan protein powder (see the ingredient list for the one we use at home) although you can easily make your own with some nuts and seeds too.
Ingredients:
- Vanilla protein powder (I use the Juice Plus+ Complete powders).
- Half a ripe banana
- A handful of spinach leaves
- Half an avocado
- Coconut milk
- Filtered water
- Matcha green tea powder
To Serve:
- Kiwi (skin on!)
- Strawberries
- Shredded coconut
Throw all the ingredients in your blender and serve in a bowl with the delicious toppings.
