Jon Stewart Promotes Vegan Diet At Screening Of “The Game Changers”
“I don’t know if you see the healthy glow of my skin, but it wasn’t always this way,” Stewart said before the screening at Monmouth University in New Jersey.
“I was an ashen, bloated, I smoked a lot, I did not live properly. But I’ve been turned around by broccoli” he explained.
Stewart held a panel discussion after the screening with experts, including James Wilks and Joseph Pace, the co-producers of the controversial film.
During the discussion, the panelists spoke about the rise of veganism in the sporting world and promoted the benefits of a plant-based diet.

Jon Stewart’s Vegan Diet
The award-winning talk show host embraced veganism earlier in 2019 after following a vegetarian diet for five years.
“As you get older and become more aware of the world and your body, it just makes sense to be informed and smart, and what you put into your body should be no different,” Stewart said at the film screening.
“You should be as informed and well versed in what is positive and what is negative, and that journey has led us to this.”
