Kate Nash Urges Her Fans To “Do Something Good” And Go Vegan
Singer turned actor Kate Nash has urged her 139k Instagram followers to go vegan with a post sharing her personal reasons for doing so.
In the post, made earlier this month, the “Foundations” singer shared that watching the movie Okja with her dog had prompted her to make the change.
“At the end of the film there is a scene where all the pigs are being kept in factory farm conditions” Nash wrote.
“Deepened My Connection With Animals”
“They are all shot in the head by a machine for food. I realised how much I hate the current state of the farming industry, the mass production of meat & the impact it has on our earth and how we treat animals.”
“Being vegan has deepened my connection with animals which is one of the biggest joys & passions of my life.”
“If you want to do something good for the planet try giving up meat & don’t support the mass production of animal secretion.”

Vegan Kate Nash
Nash — who has now followed a vegan diet for three years — was a vegetarian for eight years before she made the change.
“I was honestly so scared to even go vegetarian 11 years ago, I never dreamed I would be vegan” she shared in her Instagram post.
“A Kind Way To Live”
“I used to think that was crazy. It’s been a journey to get here. But now I am so happy with my choice, I find it very fulfilling as it is a kind way to live and as a foodie I am extremely satisfied at the dinner table.”
“Hard to believe I once had meat cravings.”
