Meatless Farm Vegan Meat On The Menu At Iconic Italian NYC Restaurant
Pomodoro Rosso has become the first restaurant in the US to add The Meatless Farm Co. products to its menu.
A selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes have been recreated using the British company’s vegan meat alternatives and will be available from today.
Diners can now enjoy Classic Meatballs on a Bed of Spicy Pomodoro Sauce and the Penne Meatless Bolognese as completely vegan meals. A selection of other dishes have been made vegetarian by using the The Meatless Farm Co’s products in place of meat, such as pizza, lasagne and bolognese.
The popular Italian restaurant is located on the Upper West Side and has been a favorite for locals for nearly 30 years.

The Meatless Farm Co’s Vegan Mission
The Meatless Farm Co. recently launched its plant-based products across the US at 450 Whole Food stores. The company is now building relationships with restaurants in the US as a part of its Meatless Monday initiative.
In an email to Raise Vegan, the company explained that the “Meatless Monday initiative is part of Meatless Farm’s larger mission to educate audiences on the personal and environmental benefits of swapping out meat with plant-based meals even just one day a week.”
