British Company ‘The Meatless Farm’ Comes to the US via Whole Foods
US vegans (and anyone waiting for some tasty stuff) are in to be spoilt yet again with one more plant-based brand coming to them this summer. The UK-based meat alternative brand The Meatless Farm. Co announced their partnership with US grocery giant Whole Foods. This brings the British brand, for the first time in the frozen section of the US grocery market. Know more here.

Britain-based ‘The Meatless Farm’ Strikes Deal with US-based Grocery Giant Whole Foods
The meat alternative company announced recently that they’re debuting in the United States vegan meat market, harnessing the US-based chain store, Whole Foods, to bring their plant-based products to the US customers.
The Leeds-based start-up in a statement confirmed that they have made their way into the U.S market as they secured the listing of their burger and mince at Whole Foods stores, pan nation, starting this summer. It also says that The Meatless Farm. Co will set up an office in New York City to oversee the US expansion.
Speaking about the new entry into an international market, CEO Rob Woodall stated: “The market is really hotting up and it is a game changer to be working with Whole Foods Market.” He went on to mention the US meat alternative market is “strategically very important for the category” as it is also currently the largest market in the world for meat alternatives. Woodall was a former Kellogg’s executive before becoming the CEO of The Meatless Farm. Co.
According to Business Insider, apart from the UK, States is to become the fourth market outside the UK for the meat alternative company. Other markets where the company sells its product are Canada, Sweden, and the UAE.
