Miami Crowned As Vegan Capital Of The US
Miami has been crowned the vegan capital of the US following a study into the most plant-based friendly places to go.
This trendy city has a lot to offer locals and tourists when it comes to vegan cuisine, with as many as one in four restaurants in Miami boasting meat and dairy-free options on the menu.
Miami, also known as The Magic City, is most commonly known for its vibrant nightlife and beautiful beaches. It has increasingly become a draw for foodie tourists due to the exciting variety of plant-based dining options.
“It’s not a surprise that Miami, considering how eclectic and open-minded the community is, has become the most vegan-friendly city” said Benjamin Goldman, a chef at Planta South Beach.
“Chefs who have not always cooked vegan, like myself, are using their approaches from nonvegan restaurants to re-create really good food out of plants.”
