Nando's Celebrates Launch Of New Vegan Chicken Burger With One-Day Giveaway
The plant-based burger — which is called “The Great Pretender” — is set to launch at Nando’s locations in Queensland on February 4. A nationwide Australian rollout is expected to follow later in the year.
Lucky customers to one store in Brisbane can enjoy the burger for free today with a side of PERi PERi fries while stocks last.
“Our aim is to make dining at Nando’s as inclusive as possible,” said Mario Manabe, Nando’s Head of Food, “so this addition will certainly help in catering to Australia’s ever-changing eating habits.”
The company has advised that the wheat-based vegan burger is prepared on the same surface as meat products.
