No Sausage Rolls

No sausage rolls. These delicious, hearty little morsels will go down as a treat as part of the main meal served with some sweet potato fries and a side salad.

They can also become a favorite for a party. Full of flavor and very simple to make they are sure to be a hit no matter what social gathering you bring them to…even if they are all for you while you watch some TV!

Sausage Rolls

YOU NEED

Spelled mountain bread (or wrap of choice)

Mixture:

  • 2 cups mushrooms
  • 1 cup soaked walnuts
  • Half carrot
  • Half onion
  • Garlic clove
  • 1 T Chia seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

  • Combine all ingredients in the food processor until minced then cook in coconut oil for a few mins till softened and add some herbs and spices if you like.
  • Roll mixture in your choice of wrap, brush outside with rice/almond/oat milk, and a little along the edge to stick.
  • Bake at 160C for 15-20 or until it starts to brown.
